Special Events in 2025-2026

We are only three months into the new year, yet our planning for the future continues! VENT will again operate more than 150 tours and cruises in each of 2025 and 2026, and we are especially pleased to shine the spotlight on four major new programs that will take place between October 2025 and December 2026.

• Sicily and Malta aboard the Sea Cloud (October 23–November 2, 2025): We present what may be our final trip aboard the legendary sailing ship Sea Cloud, a multi-themed voyage to Sicily and Malta with emphases on birding, history, and culture. A special highlight is a complete circumnavigation of Sicily.

• VENT’s 50th Anniversary Celebration (April 19–24, 2026): Celebrate 50 years of VENT in Beaumont, Texas, one of the country’s premier spring birding destinations. This tour features four full days of birding, an all-star lineup of 18 tour leaders, a spectacular lineup of keynote speakers, 112 guests, and more!
• Totally Spain Solar Eclipse: Birds, Culture & an Amazing Celestial Event (August 8–17, 2026): Alluring Spain is the venue for this painstakingly crafted program that offers superb birding, evocative landscapes, and first-rate cultural excursions—all based around a total solar eclipse on August 12!
• India: Ganges River Cruise and Himalayas: From Sundarbans to Darjeeling (December 4–20, 2026): Our newest India “mega” trip combines a Ganges River cruise aboard a beautiful riverboat with a visit to the Darjeeling region of the Himalayas..
