Debi Evans joined Victor Emanuel Nature Tours in October 2024 as Assistant Operations Manager, bringing a wealth of professional experience and a lifelong love of nature. Her career has been as dynamic as her interests, spanning roles in education, the arts, and customer service. Over the years, she has designed software training materials, taught preschool and dance, performed as a full-time actress at a children’s theater, and raised three wonderful children alongside her husband.

Before joining VENT, Debi spent eleven years with Expedia as a Customer Support Supervisor, where she focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and building meaningful connections. Her work there strengthened her belief in the power of travel to enrich lives and foster understanding.

Debi’s passion for the natural world runs deep. A sighting of Resplendent Quetzals in Costa Rica sparked her lasting interest in birding, and she remains committed to conservation and community engagement. Outside of work, she enjoys dance, travel, languages, cycling, scuba diving, and fostering dogs. Her dream is to help protect the planet and the wildlife that make it extraordinary.
