A More Flexible Way to Plan Your Travel: Updates to VENT’s Payment Policy

At Victor Emanuel Nature Tours, every detail of your journey is designed with care—from the destinations we visit to the way we support you before you depart. As part of that commitment, we’ve updated our payment and refund policies to create a more transparent, balanced, and flexible experience for our travelers. 

These changes are designed to give you greater confidence when booking and more flexibility as your plans take shape. 

What’s Changed 

We’ve simplified and aligned our policies across all tours to make planning easier: 

Final payment is now due 120 days before departure (previously 150 days for all tours) 

Refund eligibility now extends to 120 days before departure 

International tours no longer require a 210-day payment milestone 

Second deposits have shifted to 180 days before departure and are now 30% of the remaining balance (instead of a flat fee)

Updated Deposit Policy 

Tours within the lower 48 United States: 
$500 deposit is required at booking 

All other tours (including international): 
$1,000 deposit is required at booking 
second deposit of 30% of the remaining balance is due 180 days before departure 

 

Updated Refund Policy 

Refunds may be requested up to 120 days before departure 

Refunds include: 

o   50% of total deposits paid, plus 

o   100% of any additional payments made beyond deposits 

No refunds are available within 120 days of departure, unless the tour is cancelled (please refer to your itinerary for details) 

 

Payment Timing & Method 

Most payments are made securely online by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). 

Final payment is due 120 days before departure for all tours 

 

Cruises & Special Departures 

Some tours—such as cruises and select specialty departures—may have unique payment and cancellation policies. Please refer to your specific itinerary or contact our office for details.

These updates reflect a simple goal: to make planning your travel with VENT easier and more flexible. 

You’ll have:

  2. A longer window for refunds 

  3. A clearer and more consistent structure across all tours
