Galapagos Islands Cruise
Tour Overview
A journey to the Galápagos Islands is unlike any other—an immersion into one of the world’s most astonishing wildlife spectacles. This archipelago of volcanic peaks, arid lowlands, and green highlands is alive with animals that exist nowhere else and show little fear of humans. From the deck of our 36-guest yacht, the Coral I, we’ll follow Darwin’s footsteps across nine islands, discovering creatures that shaped the world’s understanding of evolution.
Our voyage begins in Quito before flying to the Galápagos to board the Coral I. Over the following week, we’ll explore the islands by small Zodiac boats, landing on pristine beaches and walking among sea lions, Marine Iguanas, and nesting seabirds. Highlights include Española Island, home to the only breeding colony of Waved Albatrosses; Floreana, where flamingos feed in pink lagoons; and Santa Cruz, where we’ll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and a reserve for Giant Tortoises. Each island presents its own cast of endemic species—from the Galápagos Hawk and Lava Gull to the famous finches that inspired Darwin’s theory of natural selection.
Between excursions, enjoy the relaxed elegance of the Coral I. Beautifully furnished and designed for comfort, the ship offers open-air decks for sea watching, fine dining, and panoramic views of this remarkable seascape. Snorkeling excursions provide a window into a vibrant underwater world teeming with sea turtles, colorful fish, and playful sea lions.
With warm days, cool breezes, and endless photographic opportunities, this cruise is both an intimate voyage of discovery and a celebration of one of Earth’s greatest natural laboratories.
