The Pantanal is among the richest wildlife regions on earth, a vast seasonal floodplain where birds and mammals concentrate in staggering numbers. Traveling down the iconic Transpantaneira, we stop frequently for raptors, caimans, Jabirus, Plumbeous Ibis, and a parade of herons and kingfishers.
