TäV Garvin has been an integral part of Victor Emanuel Nature Tours for more than three decades, assisting Victor Emanuel and leading the company’s marketing and publications efforts. Since joining VENT 33 years ago, she has played a central role in communicating the organization’s mission, supporting its operations, and helping connect travelers to nature through the company’s tours and educational outreach.

Before joining VENT, TäV worked in semiconductor sales and emergency operations for the State of Texas, experiences that honed her organizational skills and attention to detail. Her journey into birding and nature began in 1983, inspired in part by a memorable encounter with a Yellow-billed Cuckoo—a moment that deepened her appreciation for the natural world.

Today, TäV continues to combine her professional expertise with her personal passion for wildlife. When not in the office, she enjoys birding throughout Austin and Central Texas, observing local species, and appreciating the region’s remarkable biodiversity. Her commitment and creativity have made her a cornerstone of VENT’s team and mission.
